1. The first round of sanding is where the oxidization is removed. You'll see a lot of slurry come off.
2. As we move up the process, we remove less oxidization. The focus now is to refine the sanding marks.
3. You can start to see a noticeable difference in the clarity of the headlights.
4. This is the final sanding step. The headlight is looking much clearer
5. Using a cutting disc, compound, and machine polisher, we'll remove the sanding marks.
6. Finally, we'll refine the cutting step to bring out maximum clarity with a light polish and polishing pad. For protection, we'll apply a 1-year ceramic coating. This will provide durable protection.

It depends on the size and condition, but it typically takes 45 to 90 minutes to complete. If the condition is severe, it’ll take longer.
Like many things, once the headlights get to a certain point, there is only so much we can do to restore them to a like-new condition. Your headlights can look better after we’re done, but there can also be permanent damage.
Your headlights, just like your paint, have a clear coat on them. As the suns beats on it week after week, the clear coat starts to deteriorate. Eventually what was the clear coat turns into an ugly yellow layer gunk.
If you park your car directly in the sun for most of the day, that’s only going to add to the damage. Because of the material of the headlights, the clear coat on them don’t last nearly as much as the clear coat on the paint.
It can be a bit tricky. Typical waxes and sealants will only protect your car for so long. If you park your car in the shade most of the time, then they’ll simply last longer than if you park outside in the sun most of the time.
You can apply a sealant or wax to your headlights every 3 to 5 weeks. This can take less than 15 minutes to do.
